Oregon dad Jared Schmeck, who originally appeared to be not totally prepared for the backlash that occurred after he told Joe Biden “Let’s Go Brandon” during a NORAD call, which got him to repeat the phrase, now appears to be prepared to handle his newfound fame.
In an interview with Steve Bannon, Schmeck set the record straight on his opinion regarding former President Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump is my president and he should still be president right now. The election was 100% stolen, I just want to make that clear,” Schmeck told Bannon in the interview.
As for the phrase that he told Biden, Schmeck explained, “‘Let’s go Brandon’ is more than just ‘F Joe Biden.’ ‘Let’s go Brandon’ encompasses the entirety of our frustration with Joe Biden, the administration, the leftist mob, the cancel culture, the mainstream media – they’re the one who made this thing.”
“We’re able as conservatives to find humor in this, but there are terrible things going on,” Schmeck pointed out and then went over some of the issues that most conservatives are objecting to.
Bannon appeared impressed with Schmeck’s explanation and told him that he was able to sum it all up in about 3 seconds.

In another interview with David Harris Jr., Schmeck told him, “Some media outlets are reporting I do not support Donald Trump based on statements I provided to the Oregonian where I said I am not a Trumper. In context, I was saying that I am not a blind follower of Trump, or any man for that matter, but consider myself a free-thinking American and follower of Jesus Christ first and foremost.“
“I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020; he is the best president in my lifetime and probably in the history of our country. I don’t think the media really understood what I told them about how I felt about Biden and Trump, and I wanted to correct it, so thank you for letting me come on,” Schmeck added.
Harris asked Schmeck, “What would you tell Joe Biden?” to which Schmeck reiterated, “Let’s go, Brandon,”
“What message would you like to give President Trump?” Harris then asked.
Schmeck responded, “I would tell him, God Bless you. You are incredible to do what you do, and you have our support. Never forget that.”
