Fox News’ Peter Doocy continued his streak of getting White House press secretary Jen Psaki to take questionable stances.
Today, Doocy asked Psaki about the recent surge in crime, particularly of retail stores, and what Biden planned to do about the “lawlessness.”
Psaki managed to bring up former President Donald Trump yet again and accused him of defunding the police, claiming that Biden wants to provide more funding for them.
After Doocy pressed her on whether or not Biden still thinks that “crime is up because of the pandemic?”
Psaki insisted that “many people have conveyed that” and then pivoted, suggesting, “One of the root reasons of crime in communities is guns and gun violence, and we’ve seen that statistically around the country.”
Pressing her further, Doocy inquired, “So to your point, so when a huge group of criminals organizes themselves and they want to go loot a store, a CVS, a Nordstorm, a Home Depot until the shelves are clean, you think that’s because of the pandemic?”
“I think a root cause in a lot of communities is the pandemic, yes,” Psaki repeated.
Incredibly, Psaki didn’t mention the Black Lives Matter protests that took place last summer in these Democratic-run cities where criminals participated in countless smash-and-grab crimes.

Yesterday, we reported:
On the two-month anniversary of the last time she did it, White House press secretary Jen Psaki again falsely claimed that former President Donald Trump suggested that people “inject bleach.”
Fox News’ Peter Doocy noted that Biden said at a debate last year that “Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States of America.”
“Is that still the standard now that more Americans have died under President Biden than President Trump?” Doocy asked.
Psaki responded by avoiding the question completely and rephrasing it for Doocy, telling him, “I think the fundamental question here is, ‘What are you doing to save lives and protect people?’”
“The former president was suggesting people inject bleach, he apparently, reportedly, didn’t even share with people he was going to interact with that he had tested positive for COVID himself, he continued to provide a forum for misinformation which probably led to people not taking steps forward to protect themselves, to wear a mask, to eventually get vaccinated,” Psaki claimed.
Psaki then touted Biden’s so-called accomplishments, explaining, “This president has made the vaccine widely available, he’s relied on the advice of his health and medical experts, he is trying to be a part of solving this crisis, getting the pandemic under control, and I think there is a pretty stark difference in their approaches.”
