Count CNN’s Jim Acosta as one who is not looking forward to Tucker Carlson’s upcoming Jan. 6 documentary, scheduled to be released tomorrow, and he went on an unhinged rant recently against it.
Acosta blamed Carlson for incidents that occurred while Trump was president, citing his “hate-filled” rhetoric for the 2017 Unite the Right rally, the 2018 Tree of Life synagogue massacre, and the 2019 El Paso Walmart massacre.
In regards to the last two, Acosta said, “Both cases carried out by gunmen who wanted to stop an invasion of migrants coming into this country. Sounds a lot like those caravan segments you continue to see on Tucker’s show and other programs on Fox.”
“And of course, Trump’s big lie reverberated inside the far right echo chamber for weeks before the political violence that exploded at the Capitol,” Acosta claimed.
Acosta then suggested, “The reason why federal investigators and millions of Americans are terrified by right-wing violence in this country is because it keeps happening and Tucker Carlson is inciting more of it.”
“Tucker Carlson is inciting more of it. Tucker is calling his propaganda flick ‘The Patriot Purge.’ It’s nothing more than Proud Boy porn,” Acosta insisted.
Acosta then complained that Democracy is being “set ablaze” which is ironic, much like his whole spiel prior, as the same could be said about what happened last summer especially and really for the last eight or nine years with the far-left and groups like BLM and Antifa.
Yet Acosta choses to focus primarily on Tucker Carlson and Fox News. He even later has the audacity to comment on the Murdoch family and take a shot at the fact that they are immigrants, which is also ironic.
“My thoughts on why the Murdoch family is more ‘Secession’ than ‘Succession…'” Acosta said in a tweet where he shared a clip of his rant.
