Jim Jordan Accuses Biden Admin of ‘Actively Trying to Cover Up the Border Crisis’ After the FAA Implements Temporary Flight Restrictions Over Del Rio, TX Bridge

Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported yesterday that the FAA just implemented a two week TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX.

Melugin explained that meant that they could no longer fly their FOX drone over it to show images of the thousands of migrants streaming across the southern border.

According to Melugin, the FAA said that it was for a “special security reason.”

U.S. House Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) slammed the decision by the FAA and in a tweet, said that he believes that “The Biden Administration is actively trying to cover up the border crisis.”

The restrictions, however, have not stopped Melugin and his team from covering the situation, incredibly.

Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck tweeted out a clip from a Fox News broadcast today and said, “Since the Biden administration has kicked @BillFoxLA and his team out from flying Fox News’s drones along the U.S./Mexico border in Del Rio, TX, *local* law enforcement decided to get him a helicopter to hop in and go check things out to continue reporting.”

In the clip, you can see thousands of migrants around the bridge and streaming across the river. Melugin can be heard remarking that it looks like a “water park.”

Melugin reports that the amount has swelled from just over 4,000 people two days ago to “upwards of 11,000” people.

Earlier, we reported that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was forced by the Biden administration to reverse course on shutting down six points of entry along the southern border.

Melugin also noted that border control agents have been overwhelmed and that while he has covered the border all summer long, he had not seen anything like that.
