Earlier today, Ohio House Rep. Jim Jordan tweeted out, “Does it seem like the Democrats and the mainstream press are upset that the President is recovering?”

While he didn’t offer any specifics, some of the reporting over the weekend involved media acting like the doctors reporting on the president’s condition might be lying and he was actually worse than he was.
. @jaketapper and @drsanjaygupta are strongly suggesting Trump’s doctors are lying. Be careful @cnn.

The AP published an article yesterday titled, “What happens if a candidate for president dies?” The New York Times ran an article on Friday titled, “What if Trump Can’t Run? Many Steps Are Clear, but Some Are Not.”
Indiana Republican House Rep. Jim Banks demanded an apology from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after she suggested President Trump “invited” the Coronavirus into the White House with his “brazen” behavior.
Pelosi said during an appearance on MSNBC Friday, “We all received that news with great sadness. I always pray for the president and his family that they’re safe.”
She added, “This is tragic. It’s very sad. But it also is something that, again, going into crowds, unmasked, and all the rest, was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen.”
In the letter that he sent to Pelosi, Banks called her remarks “insensitive” and that it sounded like she was suggesting Trump deserved to contact coronavirus.
Banks also said in a tweet, “Speaker Pelosi choosing to victim blame and insinuate anyone who gets COVID is irresponsible — it’s a slap in the face to the millions who are suffering from this disease through no fault of their own.”

President Trump announced earlier that he would “be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M.” He emphasized that he was “Feeling really good!”
He asked people not to “be afraid of Covid” and “don’t let it dominate your life.” The president insisted that “we have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge” and that he feels better than he did “20 years ago!”
