Jim Jordan Mocks ‘Desperate’ and ‘Wrong’ Democrats For Touting 2 Cent Decline in Gas Prices

President Joe Biden discussed gas prices today at a press conference and insisted that the American people would be paying a “fair” price for gas.

In an interview with NewsMax following the press conference, U.S. House Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) mocked Biden and the Democrats for a slight decline in gas prices.

Yesterday, the DCCC shared a chart that showed the average gas price fell 2 cents in a week, from Nov. 22-Nov. 29. At that rate, it would take nearly 5 months to get back to $3.00 per gallon and by then, it would be going into the summer months.

NewsMax pointed out the 2 cent drop to Jordan, who responded by saying, “It just shows how desperate and how wrong they are and the American people see it for what it is.”

In a tweet earlier today, Jordan noted, “Gas prices continue to soar, inflation out of control, and another disappointing jobs report.”

“The Biden Administration isn’t building anything back better,” Jordan explained.

Biden held the press conference due to the jobs report, which as CNBC put it, disappointed with a gain of just 210,000, “despite high hopes.”

In the wake of the news, Biden’s administration is now doing everything they can to spin the situation, touting the overall job growth since he took office.
