It was reported that Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID today, according to her office.
Harris’ spokeswoman Kirsten Allen said that she has exhibited no symptoms and will isolate while she continues to work from her residence.
Fox News’ Jimmy Failla responded to the news in a tweet where he said, “Sending best wishes to Kamala Harris on her Covid Case.”
“On the plus side this is the first positive result of her tenure,” Failla added, tongue-in-cheek.

It was noted in the report that Harris has not been a close contact with Joe Biden or Jill Biden.
Harris is also the highest-ranking official in the Biden administration to test positive for the virus.
Harris was at a socially distanced roundtable with elementary school students on Friday for Earth Day.
In a tweet, Harris shared a clip from the roundtable and said, “This Earth Day, we are tackling the climate crisis and advancing environmental justice by making historic investments to electrify school buses, remove lead pipes, and improve air quality.”
“I sat down with the next generation of leaders to hear what Earth Day means to them,” Harris declared.
