Turning Point USA, which is allegedly against cancel culture and political correctness proved today that it is more of a catchphrase/slogan situation rather than an action.
Elad Eliahu, who was attending “AmericaFest,” asked for some clarification on something Kyle Rittenhouse said to Tucker Carlson. Rittenhouse said he supports BLM to some degree and although Rittenhouse is relatively popular on the right, many are curious as to what he meant by that exactly.
When given the chance to clarify, he punted though, and Eliahu was immediately kicked out of the “anti-cancel culture” conference. The Blaze’s Elijah Schaffer thinks TPUSA may have jumped the gun on kicking Eliahu out so fast.
“Asked Kyle Rittenhouse why he supports BLM before Turning Point USA security wrapped me up and removed me from the conference”

“What is this? We were on our way to do a panel, which thanked indp journalists for taking risks & then an independent journalist gets kicked out for trying to do exactly that? It was a fair question, I fully understand security pushing him back, but revoking his press pass?”

It was a fair question, I fully understand security pushing him back, but revoking his press pass? 🤷♂️ https://t.co/qDP6HdMsoP
Time will tell if TPUSA ever actually stands up for real free speech and if Rittenhouse clarifies the BLM statement he made. In the meantime, we can continue to expect so-called “Conservatives” to speak out of both sides of their mouth as they balance trying to be “right” with trying to help their personal careers.
