Joy Behar Implies Trump Voters got What They Voted for in East Palestine, OH as Explanation for Delayed Response from Biden Administration

‘The View’ co-hosts discussed the disaster in East Palestine, Ohio on today’s show. True to form, Joy Behar implied that the people of East Palestine got what they voted for after Alyssa Farah Griffin said it was “Trump country” and that he won the last election there by 40 points.

“I don’t know why they would ever vote for him,” Joy started. “For somebody who by the way, he placed someone with deep ties to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA’s chemical safety office,” she read off her notes.

Joy then pointed at the camera and sounding excited said, “That’s who you voted for in that district. Donald Trump who reduces all safety, he did.”

Conservative political commentator Buck Sexton shared the clip on Twitter with the following:

“Joy Behar implies that the people of East Palestine voted for Trump, so they got what they deserve. The psychotic contempt of idiotic elites for Trump *voters* has corroded brains and souls”

The Biden administration had up until recently virtually ignored the people of East Palestine. The incident occurred on the 3rd of February and the chemicals were released into the environment on the 5th. Today transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg made his way to East Palestine almost three weeks after the derailment.

Buttigieg only seemed to speak about the derailment in connection to Donald Trump’s administration, attempting to place the blame on former President Trump. Buttigieg has continually put his foot in his mouth over his handling of the disaster.

President Joe Biden decided to visit Ukraine and skipped over taking a trip to East Palestine.

Norfolk Southern will be responsible for the bill of clean up. People are worried for their health after many animals and livestock perished after vinyl chloride was released from the train cars.
