MSNBC’s Joy Reid lashed out at Kanye West “Ye” through her blogger, Ja’han Jones, who published an article on her blog titled, “No one should weep for Ye.”
The subheading then branded him as a “racist” as it read, “The artist formerly known as Kanye West seems to be seeking out a legacy as a racist hatemonger. Let him have it.”
Jones claimed in the piece that Ye “was never the pro-black icon he’s been made out to be” and suggested that West’s “music bore the same violence and misogyny” as gangster rappers, despite him separating himself from their music.
However, “Jesus Walks” was one of Ye’s earliest hits, a song that certainly differentiated from most rap of that era.
Ultimately, Jones insisted that “Ye’s legacy of racist hatemongering will deservedly eclipse his legacy as an artist.”
U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) fired back at Jones’ blog and said, “This is what you call pathetic.”
“Kanye went on Tucker Carlson to speak his mind and did so eloquently,” Boebert explained.
Boebert added that she believes, “Since he spoke out against the ‘godless agenda’ that the media is pushing, they now pull out the old ‘hatemonger’ attack.”

Earlier we reported on Ye’s interview with Carlson, how he praised former President Donald Trump and fired back at those who criticized Lizzo for trying to lose weight.
