On Fox News’ The Five today, Juan Williams talked about Melania Trump’s upcoming speech at the Republican National Convention. First, he mocked her 2016 convention speech by saying, “fair was, ‘Hey that sounds like Michelle Obama’s speech.”
Despite a nearly 15 minute long speech at that convention, many focused in on a two-paragraph section that bore similarities to the speech given by Michelle Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
Williams then said that he wanted to hear what she said about “be best” and “bullying.” He goes on to reference President Trump, saying “given her husband’s behavior online which is often described in just those terms.”
He then says, “you can ask Greta Thunberg about it, that’s bullying a little kid.” The rest of the hosts are shocked and they laugh at the suggestion. Dana Perino questions her innocence by saying, “she’s not just a little kid.”
Katie Pavlich, who had handed it off to Williams by saying that “Melania Trump deserves the same fair treatment as Joe Biden did” chimed in and said, “She’s very good at lecturing the rest of the world, that’s for sure.”

Last December, President Trump responded to a tweet congratulating Thunberg on being named Person of the Year by saying, “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”
