Kamala Harris Demands an ‘Assault Weapon’ Ban After Speaking at Funeral of Buffalo Massacre Victim Along With Al Sharpton

Kamala Harris demanded an “assault weapon” ban yesterday after speaking at the funeral of a Buffalo massacre victim along with Al Sharpton.

In a clip taken prior to her apparent boarding of Air Force 2, Harris can be seen wagging her finger and lecturing, “On the issue of gun violence, I will say as I have said countless times, we are not sitting around waiting to figure out what the solution looks like, you know, we’re not looking for a vaccine.”

“We know what works on this,” Harris claimed before insisting, “It includes, let’s have an assault weapons ban.”

Harris then asked, “You know what an assault weapon is? You know how an assault weapon was designed?”

“It was designed for a specific purpose. To kill a lot of human beings quickly. An assault weapon is a weapon of war with no place in a civil society,” Harris emphasized.

Fox News reported that at the funeral, Harris said that Scripture teaches about strength, and that strength is based on who “you lift up” rather than “who you beat down.”

“And it means then also, in that strength, understanding we will not allow small people to create fear in our communities that we will not be afraid to stand up for what is right, to speak up even when it may be difficult to hear and speak,” Harris suggested.

Harris also declared, “Enough is enough.”

According to the Associated Press, Harris wasn’t scheduled to speak at the funeral but did so at the urging of Sharpton.
