In an interview, Vice President Kamala Harris snapped at a reporter who pressured Harris on when the VP will visit the Southern Border. Harris can be seen on the verge of yelling at the reporter after she calmly asks for more specifics on when a border trip will happen. Harris began saying, “I’m going to the border and…I” before the reporter interrupted saying, “When are you going?”. Harris took a deep inhale, put on a seemingly fake smile, and said in an aggressive tone, “I’m, not finished”. Harris then explained that she will visit eventually but has already begun steps in the right direction by visiting Guatemala.
Is this black on black crime? Lol https://t.co/1dxSMQB5ll

The reporter, Illia Calderon, continued to pressure Harris, asking, “Do you have a date for your trip to the border, to see the situation with your own eyes?” Harris had no definitive answer, saying, “I will keep you posted.”
Harris has a history of making passive aggressive, smug remarks. During a Vice Presidential debate in October, 2020, Harris was seen getting visibly frustrated anytime Mike Pence would speak over her.
After this debate, the saying “I’m speaking” became a meme across the Internet with many Biden-Harris supporters wearing t-shirts with the quote on them.
However, Harris’ angry moment with the reporter yesterday was not celebrated and championed by her supporters. Harris has consistently avoided answering questions over a border visit. In an interview with Lester Holt, following pressure over a border visit, Harris said, “I – at some point – you know – we are going to the border. We’ve been to the border. So this whole – this whole – this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.” Holt continued to pressure her, saying, “you haven’t been to the border…” to which an exasperated Harris replied, “I – and I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t – I don’t understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.” Harris also began to nervously laugh during this confrontation.
