Kari Lake applauded actor and comedian Rob Schneider after he gave an interview that aired Saturday with Brian Kilmeade on Fox News where he discussed putting his career on the line for speaking out politically.
During his appearance on “One Nation,” Schneider emphasized that he is greatly concerned with the country’s lurch into full-blown authoritarianism and is willing to do whatever he can to leave behind a better country for his children.
Schneider said that it was an “easy” decision not to accept what the Biden Administration is trying to sell the American people.
After explaining how much better our form of government is here in America, Schneider said, “but I do think we have to stop the encroachment of some sort of authoritarianism, which is happening now.”
In a tweet, Lake shared an article from BPR and declared, “God Bless Rob Schneider.”
Lake also put her career on the line when she stepped down as an anchor for a Phoenix television station to run for governor.

BPR also noted that Scheider expressed his concerns with rising authoritarianism in a quote tweet responding to a fan in December.
The fan, “Vaughn” told him in the original tweet, “Rob I love you, I even have tickets to your show in a few mo the. BUT I come on Twitter to see you to get away from all the politics and stuff. Idk I know it’s freedom of speech but some of us need a break from depression and just need a laugh.”
That tweet came in response to Schneider’s response to another fan after he had shot back at Dan Rather over his hypocrisy when he complained when a couple of leftist journalists got temporary timeouts on the platform.
Schneider tried his best to respond to “Vaughn” with grace in a five-part tweet where he began, “Hi Vaughn, I make my living as an actor & comedian. I love my job but I love people and my country and freedom of expression even more. I believe, in every way possible, each of us should be examples to others of standing up for what you believe in the face of authoritarianism.”
“I believe we in western civilization have departed from ‘The Age of Reason,’ and are now falling into ‘The Age of Emotion.’ We are in the process of trading critical thinking and logic for the excesses of ‘how one feels.’ Rational people are the new heretics who dare question it,” Schneider continued.
Schneider explained, “This ‘Age of Emotions’ has it’s belief systems and superstitions that act as a religion. You are not allowed to question any part of it or you are excommunicated. At the same time the world is experiencing democracy fatigue. Which opens the door to totalitarianism.”
“And now with the help of big tech, government has at its disposal new enormous powers to control narratives & crush any dissent & to destroy people who resist or fight back. Crisis after crisis will continue to be used to eliminate individual liberties #SayNoToDigitalCurrencies,” Schneider insisted.
Schneider concluded, “As the joke goes… ‘Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the performance?’ Keep the faith! This is all happening just to test us individually and as a group. Stay sane and love all the people!”
