White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who is often tasked with an impossible job, attempted to explain today why the White House deleted a tweet by saying it was not “complete.”
Jean-Pierre then attempted to provide her own “context” to the tweet, rather than the suggested “context” that was originally added to the tweet by Twitter “readers.”
In the now-deleted tweet, the White House touted that “Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership.”
The “context” that Twitter “readers” provided pointed out that “Seniors will receive a large Social Security benefit increase due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate.”
While on the podium, Jean-Pierre was asked about the decision to go ahead and ax the tweet, to which she responded, “So… the tweet was not complete. Usually, when we put out a tweet, we post it with context.”
“It did not have that context,” Jean-Pierre admitted before adding, “Let’s not forget… about MAGA Republicans in Congress and their continued threat.”

As we previously reported, Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany threw shade at Jean-Pierre over her attempt to explain away the situation.
McEnany referenced in a tweet that Joe Biden intends to deliver a speech tonight with the midterm elections less than a week away.
“The White House is back to the blood red Mega MAGA fear speech talking points. Quite a closing argument we will hear from Biden this evening!” McEnany explained.
McEnany wondered, “Will they go with the sinister red backdrop again?”
“That worked well!”McEnany jested.
