As the Biden Administration tries to cast MAGA-supporting Republicans as extreme, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre today took it a step further as she said that “When you are not with where the majority of Americans are, then that is extreme.”
Jean-Pierre made the comments in regard to the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade as a reporter asked her to differentiate between extremism and semi-fascism.
“We see a majority of Americans who disagree, and again, when you are not with where the majority of Americans are, then that is extreme, that is an extreme way of thinking,” Jean-Pierre claimed.

While Jean-Pierre may argue that is the case in a situation like abortion, as far as Joe Biden’s poll numbers, it is less likely she would argue that situation.
According to a poll released today, Americans give Biden a negative 40% – 52% job approval rating.
The poll noted that his rating is up compared to the negative 31% – 60% job approval rating he received in July.
Earlier on in the press briefing, Jean-Pierre insisted that the “MAGA agenda” is “one of the most extreme agendas that we have seen.”

Biden is expected to target “MAGA Republicans” in a prime-time speech tonight about so-called threats to democracy as Democrats attempt to make the case to stay in power in Congress ahead of November’s mid-term elections.
According to the White House, the 8 p.m. EST speech from the Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia will focus on the “battle for the soul of the nation.”
