At today’s press conference held by President Joe Biden following the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, at the beginning of taking questions, he appeared to reference a list of reporters that he was to call on.
“Ladies & Gentlemen, they gave me a list here. The first person I was instructed to call on was Kelly O’Donnell of NBC.”

Many on the right questioned why the president would reference a list like that and Politico reporter Meridith McGraw attempted to downplay the controversy.
In a tweet, McGraw urged, “People can stop freaking out over Biden saying he was instructed to call on a certain reporter.”
“Trump would at times call on specific reporters from a list or just called on his favorites,” McGraw claimed.
McGraw added, “Of all the things from that press conference to fixate on, that’s not it.”
Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany quickly rebuked the suggestion from McGraw that Trump required such a list.
In a tweet, McEnany declared, “As White House Press Secretary, I NEVER instructed President Trump to call on a pre-determined list of reporters.”
“President Trump could make decisions for himself, speak directly to the American people, and secure peace through strength…” McEnany explained.
As White House Press Secretary, I NEVER instructed President Trump to call on a pre-determined list of reporters.

It is clear that McEnany still has it when it comes to shutting down mainstream media reporters who attempt to come for former President Trump.
