In the opening segment of Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and in a Wednesday post on X, co-host Kayleigh McEnany scorched ABC anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis for choosing to be “partisan activists” rather than debate moderators.
McEnany shared a clip from the segment in her post to X where she said, “Last night, the ABC moderators had a choice to be credible, solid, probing, fair debate moderators OR they could be partisan activists.”
“They chose the latter,” McEnany surmised.

According to Axios, both anchors have worked at the network since the early 2000s. Muir is the anchor and managing editor of ABC News’ “World News Tonight, while Davis is the anchor of the evening newscast “ABC News Live Prime” and “World News Tonight” on Sundays.
It was noted on Fox News that the moderators fact-checked President Donald Trump 5 times while not fact-checking Vice President Kamala Harris one time.
“All of the ABC moderators targeted Trump with tougher questions, more follow-ups, and non-stop corrections, challenging him in real-time on his statements from abortion to crime,” McEnany pointed out.
Clips were then shown from the debate backing up the statements made by McEnany where the moderators sparred with Trump.
McEnany also wondered where several questions could have been asked that would have held Harris accountable.
After the panel discussed the situation, McEnany concluded the clip by noting that “one thing it did not do was restore faith in the media, at a historic low.”
