A recent controversy erupted after it was reported that Vice President Kamala Harris bought a $375 pot, dropping over $500 total on two pieces of cookware during a trip to Europe.
As Fox News noted, Thanksgiving this year was one of the costliest in over three decades, with prices soaring 14% compared to last year.
Former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway dismissed the controversy, however, stating, “I don’t care that @KamalaHarris bought a pot.”
Conway instead declared, “I care that she’s a lousy Vice President”

Newsweek reported that left-leaning users mocked Republican claims that Harris was out of touch with Americans because Harris spent hundreds of dollars on cookware and many pointed to the wealth of the Trump family.
Of course, the current squeeze that we are seeing on American wallets isn’t happening under former President Donald Trump, but that is the left’s go-to.
The View’s Ana Navarro-Cárdenas asked sarcastically, “Are you all seriously telling me hypocrites who support the very frugal Trumps, including Melania eating diamonds like it was spaghetti, are mad Kamala bought a copper pan?”
“This really cannot be the new Kamala manufactured scandal they pretend to be outraged about this week,” Navarro- Cárdenas scoffed.

LGBTQ activist and former Stars Trek actor George Takei also referenced Trump in defense of Harris and suggested in a tweet that Harris “Would have to buy one Le Creuset pot a month for 27 years to equal one hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. Just saying.”
