Actor Kevin Costner won his first Golden Globe for his role in the TV series “Yellowstone” but missed the ceremony due to flooding from a storm that hit Los Angeles, California.
Costner, who won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a television series, recorded a video where he explained the situation and shared it in a tweet.

As we previously reported, Costner scored the series its first Golden Globe nomination for his role as John Dutton.
It was Costner’s first nomination since he took home an award in 2013. That award and all of Costner’s previous nominations were for movies so this is his first for a TV series.
Costner won the award in 2013 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Miniseries or Motion Picture for Television for his role in “Hatfields & McCoys.”
Previously, Costner won the award for Best Director – Motion Picture for “Dances With Wolves” in 1991.
Costner also had three other nominations, another one for “Dances With Wolves” for Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, in 1992 for Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for “JFK,” and in 1997 for Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical for “Tin Cup.”
