Laura Ingraham, who hosts her own opinion news show on Fox News’ evening lineup, and has once toyed with the possibility of running for office herself, is taunting Hillary Clinton. Former Secretary of State and First Lady Clinton has not announced a run for the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, but speculation has been brewing that she still has the bug for some time now. In fact, even though she hasn’t announced, she also hasn’t denounced the idea, and left-wing media are polling her for the race anyway. The New York Post reported on this:
A new poll of registered Democrats has Hillary Clinton as their top choice for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination — and she’s not even running.
The online Harris Poll survey released by the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard found that Clinton placed first with 21% of the vote, followed closely by former Vice President Joe Biden at 20%, Sen. Bernie Sanders at 12%, Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 9% and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg at 7%.
It polled 1,859 voters and was conducted between Nov. 27 and 29 of this year.
In light of all this, the right-leaning Fox News commentator tweeted out about an hour ago, taunting Clinton in ways similar to that of how President Trump has done himself in the past. Ingraham tweeted: ” Pleeeeeeease jump into the race.” She went on to say sarcastically, “It hasn’t been the same without your unmitigated integrity and mellifluous laugh.”
Ingraham, who once teased a run for U.S. Senate before stepping out of the way for Prince William County Virginia Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart to run against Tim Kaine, retweeted Hillary’s recent tweet with her quip. Hillary’s tweet can be seen below as part of Laura’s. Clinton hints at how she thinks President Trump is waging war against Democracy without mentioning his name. It’s important to note that Laura’s choice to not run for U.S. Senate in the past was also likely in part due to her offer for her current show, ‘The Ingraham Angle, on Fox News. It’s unclear if she will run for some kind of office in the future, especially in the wake of such a turbulent time for Republican politicians in Virginia.

In these unpredictable political times, it’s unclear whether or not Hillary Clinton will run, or if she is just enjoying the media attention. She herself may not actually know what she wants to do yet, and there is a chance Clinton wants to wait and see what the Barr/Durham report has to say about the Trump-Russia collusion investigation first. I am only speculating here, but this could be in hopes that she is not mentioned or involved in any negative way when the information comes out about whether or not the investigation by Robert Mueller into President Trump was fair and unbiased.
