In a post to X Friday night, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) celebrated “wins” for the Constitution and our Republic after Donald Trump was placed on the Colorado primary ballot.
Boebert made the statement in response to a post made to X by Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D).
“The Constitution wins. Our Republic wins,” Boebert declared in the post on X.
Griswold had announced, “Colorado’s 2024 Presidential primary ballot is certified. The United States Supreme Court has accepted the case, and Donald Trump will appear on the ballot as a result.”
The Constitution wins.

As we previously reported, the announcement from Griswold comes after the Colorado Supreme Court disqualified Trump from the ballot in a 4-3 decision on December 19.
Trump and the Colorado GOP appealed the decision to the Supreme Court, which agreed on Friday to hear the appeal.
The court is scheduled to hear arguments on February 8 according to the brief order that was released announcing the decision.
Boebert recently announced that she would run for the 4th Congressional district in Colorado rather than the 3rd that she currently represents.
