In a tweet today, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) responded to recently a recent claim by Karine Jean-Pierre that kids “belong to all of us.”
The claim from Jean-Pierre specifically appeared to be referencing “trans kids” and that she believed they belonged to the LGBTQ+ community.
Boebert reported in the tweet, “The Biden administration continues to claim children ‘belong to all of us.'”
“No! Children are not property of the state. They belong to their parents! Back off @PressSec!” Boebert declared.

No! Children are not property of the state. They belong to their parents!
Back off @PressSec!
Jean-Pierre made the comments during an appearance at the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards over the weekend.
“There are more than 600 pieces of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation out there. A few hundred of them are anti-trans community, and that matters because we have to call that out. And we’ve never seen this level. It’s historic in the number of pieces of legislation,” Jean-Pierre told the website “Jezebel.”
Jean-Pierre explained, “I’ve met a lot of parents of trans kids in the past couple of months who have told me these devastating stories, whether they’re in Texas or Oklahoma or wherever they are, saying how they now have to seriously consider leaving their state to protect their child.”
“That’s something that we have to call out and continue to be very clear about. These are kids. These are our kids. They belong to all of us,” Jean-Pierre insisted.
Fox News noted that Kamala Harris had previously used similiar language last year during an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
“When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean, our future is really bright if we, if we prioritize them, and therefore prioritize the climate crisis and the need to address it. If we think about our children, prioritizing the need to bring our country together,” Harris said at the time.

Love these GOP woman. They get’er done.
As President Trump said; “they’re not coming after me but coming after you” by extension as the deviate dems have demonstrated they’re coming after your kids.
