Congresswoman-elect Republican Lauren Boebert (Co.) attended and spoke today at the “Million MAGA March” in Washington DC.
Boebert shared a picture of herself in front of the crowd and said that she was “Proud to stand with patriots supporting President Donald J. Trump at the #MillionMAGAMarch today. Turned into an impromptu speech!”
“Let’s take all of that energy and convert it into getting Patriots across this country to step up and run for office. We need more people who aren’t the entrenched political class to step up & come to DC! That’s the only way it changes,” Boebert added, encouraging Trump supporters to run for office themselves.

We need more people who aren’t the entrenched political class to step up & come to DC! That’s the only way it changes.
As the march ended, however, violence has descended on the city as the nation’s capital voted nearly 93% for Joe Biden and residents have made it clear that vocal Trump supporters aren’t welcome in their liberal enclave.
In a series of tweets, Boebert has denounced the violence, which she blamed on the left. She began by praising the initial peaceful march and said, “Let’s make something clear. The #MillionMAGAMarch was peaceful and full of patriots showing love for country.”
“Now, the violence you’re seeing is ANTIFA, which has nothing to do with MAGA. Hope the mainstream media covers it accurately,” she continued, calling for the media to be fair in the coverage.

Boebert then brought up the presidential election and asked, “Is the ANTIFA violence in DC the unity that Joe Biden was talking about?”

Earlier today, the DNC tweeted “The Biden-Harris administration will restore the soul of this nation and bring us together as One America” which Boebert retweeted and questioned.
“Is that right? Currently, your supporters are attacking people on the streets of DC. Doesn’t exactly seem like they’re bringing anyone together,” Boebert responded.

Boebert then wondered in reference to something previously supported, “Has Kamala Harris started a bail fund for the people beating up MAGA supporters on the streets of DC yet?”

Referencing something Biden said at one of the debates, which he had said, quoting FBI Director Christopher Wray, Boebert’s most recent tweet said, “None of the people who are getting their heads bashed into the pavement right now think that ANTIFA is just an idea.”
