Lauren Boebert will keep her seat in the House. She announced on Twitter that Adam Frisch called her to concede the race.
Boebert shared:
“Adam Frisch called me to concede this race. I look forward to getting past election season and focusing on conservative governance in the House majority. Time to get to work!”
In a race that was perceived as one that would be easy for Republicans to keep remained up in the air almost a week and a half after the midterm election ended. The last totals show that Boebert had a lead of only 551 votes at the time of Frisch’s concession.
Frisch told reporters in a video call that he had called Boebert to offer his concessions as he saw the race was heading toward a mandatory recount and added, “the likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small.”
He told reporters, “the likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small.” advocating that his supporters do not donate to his campaign for a recount.
“Please save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children,” he added.
Frisch criticized his party sharing, “Democrats have abandoned rural America and working-class America for the last many years. Republicans have had a monopoly over the backbone of this country.
Boebert’s win will now add to the slim majority Republicans hold in the House.
