In a tweet today, left-wing horror author Stephen King attacked Tucker Carlson after the New York Times revealed a text message sent from Carlson to his producer while working at Fox News.
The message also reportedly sparked an investigation into Carlson which led to his ouster from the network.
King reported on what Carlson said in the message, “Tucker Carlson: ‘This isn’t how white men fight.'” and then called it, “Despicable.”
In response, Twitter user “Catturd” threw back at King a statement that Joe Biden had once made that could be interpreted as a racial slur.
“‘Hush up, boy’ – Joe Biden”

Another Twitter user jested, “He was actually commenting on your fiction and misspoke. Meant to say ‘This isn’t how white men write'”

In the article from the New York Times, they also attempted to use the words against Carlson, claiming that it meant that believes in “racial supreriority.”
“For years, Mr. Carlson espoused views on his show that amplified the ideology of white nationalism. But the text message revealed more about his views on racial superiority.”
The Times reported that a representative for Carlson had no comment on the text messages.
Despite these attempts to take Carlson down, CEO of Valuetainment Patrick Bet-David recently publicly posted his offer to Carlson, in hopes of bringing him on.
The offer is for Carlson to “partner” with them to help “define the future of media.” This would include $100 million for Carlson for a 5-year contract with an equity stake in the company. Bet-David added that “We are 100% serious about our offer.”
