Leo Terrell, a conservative commentator and former lawyer, is being hailed as a hero after he stopped a robbery at a Starbucks in Los Angeles.
The incident happened on Friday morning when Terrell was at the Starbucks near the intersection of Perdue and Santa Monica Blvd. He saw a man enter the store and as he was waiting in line the man started stealing items inside the store.
Terrell immediately intervened, grabbing the bag and putting the items back. He told the man to “get out of here”. The man said that he “has to eat”. Terrell said he was going to call the police to which the criminal replied “I don’t care, the police won’t show up”.
The likely Democrat and criminal eventually gave up and ran away. No one was injured in the incident.
Terrell’s actions were praised by X users.

Terrell said that he was motivated to intervene because he “can’t sit there and stand and watch someone steal thinking he can get away with it. From what I understand, this happens every day at this Starbucks, and I just want America to know, this is crazy, Los Angeles is crazy!” He mentioned there is a police station half a block away.
Terrell’s actions are a reminder that ordinary citizens can play a role in preventing crime. His story is an inspiration to us all.
In addition to the praise he has received from law enforcement, Terrell has also been praised by social media users.
You go Leo! Just stay safe! I can’t stand a thief also! #criminals

Good for you Leo. I'd done the same thing, except I'd have beat him with the bag.
