Although many would suggest that it already is, civil rights attorney Leo Terrell put Mike Pence on notice yesterday by announcing that his political career is over if he endorses U.S. Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY).
Terrell announced in a tweet, “Attention Mike Pence: Your political career is OVER if you endorsed Liz Cheney!”

It doesn’t appear that Pence has endorsed Cheney yet, although he has endorsed GOP candidates that are running against other Trump-endorsed candidates.
Pence recently endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson in the Arizona governor’s race and plans to campaign for her this week, while Trump has endorsed Kari Lake.
Last summer, Pence described serving alongside Trump as “the greatest honor of my life” while speaking at an event.
As the New York Times pointed out, Pence also has campaigned for other candidates that do have support from Trump or believe that he won in 2020.
In regards to Cheney, the Times said that Pence has been “notably absent from the race involving the House Republican with whom Mr. Trump has the most adversarial relationship.”
Cheney has called Pence a “hero” for standing up to Trump’s “pressure campaign” the Times pointed out and Trump has endorsed Ms. Cheney’s rival, Harriet Hageman, while Pence “has stayed out of the contest.”
It is possible that Terrell saw a tweet from a Trump supporter that declared, “Mike Pence is throwing his support behind Liz Chaney, & that’s all you need to know about Mike Pence!!!”
