Fox News contributor and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell didn’t hold back in response to former U.S. House Rep Liz Cheney after she tried to offer advice on who is qualified to be president.
Terrell reminded Cheney of the disastrous defeat in the 2022 primary when she lost to the woman who replaced her in Congress, U.S. House Rep Harriet Hageman (R-WY).
Cheney claimed in a tweet yesterday, “Any candidate who says they will pardon Jan. 6 defendants is not qualified to be President.”
In a quote tweet response, Terrell told her, “You are not qualified to serve in Congress! That is why you lost by 60 percentage points!”

According to the Hill, Cheney’s comments were an apparent response to Florida Republican Gov. and 2024 presidential candidate Ron DeSantis for saying he’ll consider pardoning Jan. 6 defendants if elected to the White House.
DeSantis appeared on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” and told the hosts that he would consider “on day one” pardoning defendants connected to Jan. 6.
When asked, DeSantis insisted, “On day one, I will have folks that will get together and look at all these cases, who people are victims of weaponization or political targeting, and we will be aggressive in issuing pardons.”
Of those arrested over Jan. 6, former President and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump said earlier this month during the CNN Town Hall, “I am inclined to pardon many of them.”
“I can’t say for every single one, because a couple of them, probably … got out of control,” and added that “most likely” he would pardon “a large portion of them … and it’ll be very early on.”

Cheney equals NPD
FWIW, Buck Sexton comes off as a Liz Cheney/Bill Kristol/John Bolton/Dan Crenshaw/William F. Buckley acolyte. I’m hardcore MAGA and probably to the right of Trump – though I support him 110%. My gut has told me more than once Sexton is a clown. Terrell is right though – Cheney is a cyanide capsule to any campaign she(who knows these days?) wants to throw her weight behind. Yes, I said she’s (again using the term loosely) hefty and a stuck-up cow whose precious “daddy” was a lying scumbag war criminal that likely cost a LOT of my friends arms and legs.
I am thrilled that Liz Cheney got her fat ass kicked the woman than did the kicking is such an improvement over the Liz that it is wonderful. Cheney is going to find out that no one cares what she says or thinks she just as well slither off into the swamp Daddy ain’t gona help her no more.
Love to see how Liz would fare if she were to be fully audited, while in office her financial portfolio like Nancy Pelosi’s magically mushroomed to an unexplainable level.
