A 49-year-old homeless man in NYC is in custody after allegedly setting Fox News’ 50 foot Christmas tree on fire last night.
Craig Tamanaha faces charges including criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and arson.
Many liberal trolls have been all too giddy to mock the reports about the tree.
Progressive talk show host Dean Obeidallah said in a tweet, “Thoughts and prayers to the Fox News Christmas tree that was forced to stand outside a place that spews white supremacy and fascism. Perhaps the tree spontaneously burst into flames to save itself from having to see Tucker Klansman.”
“I’m sincerely concerned with a Christmas tree that celebrates the birth of Jesus forced to stand in front of a place that spews hate. Fox News is everything Jesus opposed,” Obeidallah added in a follow-up.

LGBTQ supporting Twitter user “JC Hawman” remarked, “A Fake Christmas tree from a Fake News source, about a Fake War on Christmas, and a smoldering hulk of stinking shit that symbolizes the absolute crap that they have spewed upon the American psyche. What a fitting monument!”

FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott has reportedly responded to the arson and declared, “We will not let this deliberate and brazen act of cowardice deter us.”
“We are in the process of rebuilding and installing a new tree as a message that there can be peace, light and joy even during a dark moment like this,” Scott insisted.
The news outlet plans to rebuild the Christmas Tree.
