Former Fox Business host Lou Dobbs lashed out today at those on the left who got phrases like “rest in piss” trending on Twitter in conjunction with Rush Limbaugh’s passing yesterday.
In a post on his channel on Telegram, Dobbs said, “I don’t remember ‘rest in piss’ trending in response to any prominent liberal’s death.”
Dobbs explained that he believes, “Celebrating death is a LEFT WING THING. On the Right, it is the exception. On the Left, the rule. They are a death cult. And they truly want you to die if you disagree with them. They really do…”
PJ Media compiled a list of various liberal verified Twitter accounts that used the phrase in posts that essentially celebrated Limbaugh’s death as a victory, which would lead to a better world in their opinion.”
The phrases “good riddance” and “rot in hell” also trended with Limbaugh’s death and Yahoo highlighted other liberal verified and prominent accounts that had negative things to say.
In a tweet yesterday, Dobbs announced Limbaugh’s passing by calling him a “Broadcast Legend.”
“His legions of fans will miss him, and his powerful and bright contribution to our national dialogue is a treasure that will endure for decades to come. Rush Limbaugh, a great American, dead at 70. God bless you Rush,” Dobbs added.
