According to a Fox News poll, almost the entire country blames Joe Biden for the massive inflation that is ripping through the United States economy. The methodology from the Fox News poll taken from page 1 is as follows:
Questions 1-9, 12-29, 32-48 are for release after 6:00 PM/ET Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
All other questions are held for future release.
Methodology
Conducted August 7-10, 2021, this Fox News Poll includes interviews among 1,002 registered
voters (RV) nationwide who were randomly selected from a national voter file and spoke with
live interviewers. Landline (149) and cellphone (853) telephone numbers were selected for
inclusion using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers for each
state are proportional to the number of voters in each state.
Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of ± 3 percentage points.
The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Beacon Research (D) (formerly
known as Anderson Robbins Research) and Shaw & Company Research (R).
Fieldwork conducted by Braun Research, Inc. of Princeton, NJ.
Fox News Polls before 2011 were conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corporation.
Results are of registered voters, unless otherwise noted.
An asterisk (*) is used for percentages of less than one-half percent.
A dash (-) represents a value of zero.
Some percentages may not add to 100% due to rounding. In the same way, percentages in “total”
columns may be one point more or less than the sum of their parts due to rounding.
On page 7 of 34, you can see the inflation results.
Fox News attributed it to the Biden admin here by saying that 79% blame the government.
Most (86 percent) are concerned about inflation — and they see lots of reasons for it. Eighty-six percent think the pandemic is responsible for rising prices, while 79 percent blame the government’s economic policies, and 72 percent point to the regular ups and downs of the economy.
New York Post gave the story some coverage:

Joe Biden and his administration will likely try to blame others such as former President Donald Trump, or Covid-19 for the inflation. We have many opinions on all this of course, but when it comes to Covid-19 regulations, they are different all over the nation. We do know the government pumped lots of cheap money into the economy. Some of it was under Trump, but Biden has continued that trend and the Fed has continued to keep rates astronomically low while printing tons of money.
Meanwhile, there is the Delta variant now shaking up the markets and some feel like Covid-19 isn’t going away anytime soon. The government will have to come up with a plan to calm the markets and inflation, taking everything into consideration. In our opinion, Biden doesn’t have what it takes.
