Since Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted in the murder trial he was put through, social media companies were forced to unban his accounts. He was initially banned after being considered “guilty” in the eyes of the court of public opinion.
Many leftists, some of which support Antifa, a leftist rioting group that has wreaked havoc in city after city, believed Rittenhouse wasn’t defending himself in that case.
A jury decided otherwise however, allowing Rittenhouse to get on with his life. Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, Rittenhouse has been tweeting a lot more.
He is not yet “verified”, but it’s clear to see that the account is him. A “journalist” named Carla Marinucci who brags in her Twitter name about the fact that she has a blue check (something anyone will be able to have for $7.99 soon) is furious.
Upon lurking around and looking at Elon Musk’s Twitter, she realized Twitter made a recommendation of accounts that “work well” with Musk’s.
Kyle Rittenhouse was one of the suggestions. Marinucci was absolutely triggered by this, tweeting:
“Well, now: @Twitter just suggested to me that a follow of Kyle Rittenhouse would “work well” with my follow of @elonmusk 👇”
So far, many on both sides have criticized Musk’s handling of Twitter so far. One thing is for sure, he’s taking a hands on approach and the site is much more interesting because of that.
