Even though just a few months ago in a vicious 5th Congressional District Primary in Virginia Denver Riggleman was touting his tweet from President Trump endorsing his reelection, it seems he is on a revenge tour. This comes as he lost his US House seat in a bitter Convention that the Riggleman camp claimed was rigged. The real reason, many say, Riggleman lost was that he was failing to uphold conservative values.
Many of Denver’s ardent supporters have been going around calling the new GOP nominee ‘racist’ for no good reason other than he’s not Denver Riggleman. Meanwhile, Denver has been bashing QAnon, one of the Democrats’ latest targets to try to get President Trump.
Although it’s hard to want to support some of the crazy things that come from QAnon folks, the fact is that many of them support President Trump, and President Trump knows that which is why he has ducked giving a full out disavowal of the group as requested by the left.
That isn’t stopping Denver Riggleman from doing it though, which also hurts some GOP nominees down-ticket this November additionally, not a very GOP team player move. The Columbia Bugle commented on a tweet announcing Denver’s support for a QAnon condemnation resolution:
“Will you publicly include BLM and its myth of “systemic racism” in your list of extreme conspiracy theories? I only ask because mobs are torching cities under that banner while Republicans have stayed largely silent.”

Just moments ago Marjorie Taylor Greene hit back at Riggleman as well:
Why aren’t @Malinowski and @RepRiggleman introducing a resolution condemning the #BLM / #ANTIFA terrorists who are burning churches, looting businesses and destroying everything in their path on a nightly basis?

This is the resolution being supported by Rep. Riggleman:
Today, I’m introducing a bipartisan resolution with @RepRiggleman condemning QAnon. Our aim is a fully bipartisan Congressional repudiation of this dangerous, anti-Semitic, conspiracy-mongering cult that the FBI says is radicalizing Americans to violence.

Riggleman previously attacked Greene, even after she became the Republican US House nominee for her Georgia district, which begs the question, is he going to become a NeverTrump McCain style Republican, even after Trump’s endorsement of him previously? Well, he does seem to be a huge fan of the late John McCain, calling him a war hero while President Trump was under fire for comments about McCain’s anti-Obamacare repeal vote. Some have speculated that Riggleman isn’t a Republican at all, but just another leftist Libertarian infiltrator such as Justin Amash turned out out to be but this of course is subjective. His slam at Greene back on 8/16 read:
“#QAnon has the same number of letters as Moron. I’m a 9/11 #USAF veteran. I deployed. My buddy was in the Pentagon when Flight 77 hit. #Truthers and QAnon are enemies to intelligence and common sense The GOP is better than this @jaketapper“

The video below shows a local man in tears after carnage from the latest Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha, WI, which we reported on here. It seems Riggleman isn’t too interested sadly, about this, but rather about his petty beefs and bitterness that he will no longer be a sitting US Congressman in Virginia.
We spoke with a local Virginia Constituent who is a County GOP Chair, and he had this to say about the situation with Denver Riggleman, which he isn’t too thrilled about:
“As a strong supporter of Denver Riggleman, I believe that our fight is not with each other. I 100% endorse Marjorie Green and Bob Good and the slate of Republican candidates running on the ticket with Donald Trump because there is more at stake in this election then personal agendas.
It is imperative that the United States of America does not become a socialist regime. We must hold true to free-market society and continue to be the land of innovation and new ideas. We can not grow when big government dictates our every move.
This country and this election is about more than one man. It’s about something bigger than ourselves. It’s maintaining our freedoms.”
It’s important to clarify that we are not signaling belief or support ourselves for QAnon, just pointing out the perceived hypocrisy in this particular situation and with the often spineless GOP as a whole as they appear to get their priorities backward time and time again. If they want to be the party of law and order they’re going to really have to step up their game. The new GOP nominee, Bob Good, who will be running for the 5th CD seat in Virginia has a slightly different tone than Riggleman. See Facebook post below:
We have previously reported on Rep. Riggleman’s antics including the politicizing of his officiating a gay marriage as a Republican Congressman in a red Virginia district, how he tried to label Bob Good as an extremist, told Trump to get off Twitter, and balked at endorsing any nominee other than himself. It’s probably best for Virginia Republicans that Riggleman is on the way out, the question is, how much damage can this lame-duck in a China shop do before November?
