House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shared a Buzzfeed article earlier that quoted Never Trumpers and postal workers regarding the delays that have been happening with the postal service lately and like the article, put the blame on President Trump.
“The Trump assault on the Postal Service isn’t just a threat to the life of our democracy – it impacts the health of Americans in communities across the country,” Pelosi said. “This Saturday, the House will take action,” she added.
Georgia Congressional candidate Marjorie Greene fired back that Pelosi has “been in Congress 33 years, and have done nothing to save the USPS.” She said that she was lying and that “Trump appointed {Postmaster General Louis] DeJoy to save the USPS from failure.”
You’ve been in Congress 33 years, and have done nothing to save the USPS.

You lie!
The USPS has been losing billions per year for over 13 years.@realDonaldTrump has only been President for 3 1/2 years.

In the article, Maryland postal worker Kevin Michel blamed DeJoy by saying,“It’s obviously clear he’s trying to slow down the mail. It’s not a question. Everyone is frustrated.”
They attempted to use veterans needing prescription medication as a reason way to blast President Trump and Dejoy for their cost-cutting measures with the USPS.
They said that Lisa Adametz has been waiting for her cholesterol medication since July 29. The Postal Service picked it up from a Veterans Affairs hospital weeks ago, but according to the tracking number, it still hasn’t been shipped, or even processed.
Adametz said of the delay, “I don’t know what’s going on, it’s just sitting there.” Adametz described herself as a former Republican who has become a “never Trumper” over the last few years.
They also interviewed self-described “never Trump” veteran Herbert Arce who said it took three weeks for his July prescriptions to arrive — leaving him without medications for two full weeks.
In April, the USPS said that “USPS products and packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts.” There was no mention of that in the article.
