Marjorie Taylor Greene Credits ‘Hero’ Woman With a Pistol For Stopping Man Who Opened Fire Into a Crowd of People With a Gun He ‘Illegally Owned’

U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) today sounded off about a story that continues to fly under the radar of the mainstream media coverage.

Even the local news media personality where Greene shared it from in her quote tweet, Erin Noon who is a reporter at WOWK in Charleston, West Virginia, appears to have moved on quickly from the story.

Noon reported on Thursday, along with a picture of a prior mugshot, “UPDATE: This is 37-year-old Dennis Butler, the man that opened fire at a graduation party last night. He has an extensive criminal record that includes charges of DUI, domestic battery, among other.”

Greene responded in the quote tweet, “This man opened fire into a crowd of people with a gun he illegally owned and the hero that stopped him is a woman who was legally carrying her firearm.”

“No red flag law, assault weapons ban, or maybe even the police would have stopped him. But a brave citizen gun owner did,” Greene explained.

Prior to that tweet from Noon, she had tweeted a video of her report from outside of the press conference that was held after the shooting.

“NEW DETAILS: A woman is being credited for saving multiple lives after a man started shooting at a graduation party. Truly a miracle no one else was hurt. @WOWK13News

As we previously reported, both GOP Arizona State Sen Wendy Rogers and U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) have also highlighted the story on their Twitter accounts.

The left and the mainstream media, however, are still focused on the school shooting that took place in Uvalde, Texas and trying to push gun control.

Greene appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show following that shooting and blamed the “gun-free school zones” for the massacre.
