Matt Gaetz Scores Huge Victory as DOJ Declines Prosecution Following Sex Trafficking Allegations Probe

U.S. House Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) scored a huge victory as the DOJ is declining prosecution following a sex trafficking allegations probe.

Gaetz’s office confirmed the report in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The Department of Justice has confirmed to Congressman Gaetz’s attorneys that their investigation has concluded and that he will not be charged with any crimes,” the statement said.

Leftists responded furiously to the news, including Rebekah Jones, who decried the move in a tweet as she reported, “The Justice Department informed one of @mattgaetz victims that despite the evidence and testimony, they will not be prosecuting Gaetz for sex trafficking at this time.”

Jones insisted, however, that “The other charges/investigations remain open, and the @FBI now has evidence of multiple other crimes, including campaign finance violations, fraud, and more.”

“When you ask why this man continues to evade justice for his many documented crimes, remember this,” Jones said.

Jones then listed reasons she believes he wasn’t charged, “1. He’s rich 2. He’s white 3. He’s a HE 4. His victims are young girls 5. He’s a politician.”

Conservative Twitter user Collin Rugg, however, seized on the news and declared in a tweet, “Rep. Matt Gaetz not charged in ‘sex-trafficking’ hoax.”

“Every member of the media who pushed this lie should be investigated and punished. Enemies of the people,” Rugg asserted.
