Megyn Kelly Tells Brian Stelter ‘Step Away from the Glue’ After he Claims that Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon Have Been Texting Each Other and formed New ‘Kinship’

A handful of former news anchors have been rapid tweeting lately. They seem to be salivating at the news that has dominated headlines all week. That news is of course the major departure of Tucker Carlson from Fox News and of course the slightly less important news of Don Lemon.

On the one hand, as right leaning opinion news content creators, we might worry that our readers such as yourself may potentially be getting weary of this topic. However, based on a quick analysis of traffic to articles on this topic as compared with other news, that is clearly not the case.

For this reason and others of course, we’re staying on top of these developments as they unfold. Megyn Kelly, Brian Stelter, Bill O’Reilly, Trish Regan, and many others have been hovering over ever new development, absorbing information as it is found like a catfish looking for snacks.

While Brian Stelter is definitely a leftist, and on opposite ends of where we at Media Right News fall politically, his reporting has still held some interesting raw data that is still worth looking at, particularly when coupled with other opinions, such as Kelly’s.

Stelter has been penning op-eds in addition to his tweets, one of which Kelly is responding to here. We won’t delve too deeply into the content of Stelter’s op-ed, but the simply tweet exchange alone here is enough to opine and speculate in various different possible manners. Stelter started this particular exchange by tweeting out a “Vanity Fair” piece captioned:

“Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon have never met. They’re not friends. On TV, they were adversaries. But in the past few days, they have been texting with each other, since there’s a kinship that comes from being fired on the same day. Details in my new column:”

While Stelter’s coverage as of late may help himself in terms of relevance, it’s in our opinion that he also is jealous of how much more people miss Carlson after his firing than appeared to have missed Stelter after his. Kelly responded to the tweet, seemingly skeptical of the speculation:

“I have never read so much nonsense in one media piece. Don Lemon & Tucker might partner up on a new Crossfire?! Hollywood agents are allegedly calling Lemon’s agent with offers for a talk show? Step away from the glue, hall monitor.”

It appears that Kelly does not see a Carlson/Lemon collaboration happening anytime soon. As to whether or not the two are new texting pals, it’s hard to say.

Stelter previously reported that they hired the same attorney. It’s not unfathomable that they are trading notes for things completely outside of their political beliefs.

Time will tell what comes next as the internet stays ablaze with news and speculation and news networks themselves struggle for identity and direction.

  1. Stelter can’t help himself. Absolutely delusional.
