Arizona’s Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) is now threatening to de-certify the election equipment that was handed over to the state senate because she claims that the equipment could be compromised now.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough piggy-backed on the news and went on an unhinged rant against Trump supporters, who want to see the process through.
Former Trump campaign senior advisor Boris Epshteyn was one of several to share video of the rant on Twitter and said in a tweet, “The Arizona Audit has caused @JoeNBC to…. well, see for yourself. Bless his heart.”

In the video Scarborough began by suggesting, “America, love it or leave it. If you don’t have respect for American democracy any more. If you don’t respect Madisonian checks and balances. If your guy doesn’t win, If that’s the new rules of engagement for this great republic, then just leave our country.”
Scarborough continued by suggesting that those people should be replaced and said, “Because you are unworthy of it. There are millions of immigrants who will come here and raise their right hand and buy into the creed and believe that we are exceptional, that believe American democracy is the greatest government on the face of the earth.”
“They will do it proudly, they will salute the flag proudly, and most importantly, they will fight for what that flag represents, while you shame yourself, while you disgrace yourself, while you disgrace our country in the eyes of the world, yes this is all on you,” Scarborough continued.
Scarborough then slammed Trump and concluded, “If you are going to believe a reality TV show host’s lies about the American republic, his desecration of American exceptionalism, then just get the hell out, we don’t want you here.”
Co-host Mika Brzezinski then applauds Scarborough’s rant by and says, “You couldn’t have said it better,” to which he replied “Thank you.”
From Fox 10:
“Those devices should not be reused in future elections.”
That’s the message from Secretary of State Katie Hobbs to Maricopa County, saying that the subpoena election equipment should be replaced, and if it isn’t, she’d consider decertifying them.
“We have serious concerns about the equipment. The county lost the chain of custody, it was in a room for this so-called audit that didn’t have full access by the cameras, they didn’t let our equipment expert in there and we have no idea what they did to the equipment.”
The concern is whether or not the machines could’ve been compromised, according to Hobbs.
And this could be costly — possibly in the millions of dollars.
But the county and Senate already agreed the county wouldn’t be on the hook for audit-related costs, but if the Senate is, that’s still taxpayer money.
When asked if that heat could come down on her for people saying it’s costing taxpayers $6 million, Hobbs replied, “I didn’t cost the taxpayers anything. This is fully and squarely on Senate President Karen Fann and Senator Warren Petersen.”
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office responded with this statement:
“We have received the letter from the Secretary of State expressing her concerns about the elections equipment that was subpoenaed by the Senate. That letter is being reviewed by our attorneys and they will advise us before we take any next steps.”
We reached out to Fann about the issue and she has yet to comment at this time.
