Newsmax Tries to Save Face With Lindell After Flare Up With Former Fox News & CNBC Anchor on Earlier Segment

After a segment involving former Fox News and CNBC anchor Bob Sellers and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell on Newsmax TV ended up with Sellers walking off the set, the conservative leaning news network attempted to save face with their audience by having Lindell return later for another segment, this time with Rob Schmitt.

Lindell is a major advertiser on the network, which complicates things, and the network is clearly worried about losing other advertisers potentially or being deplatformed from different carriers.

Schmitt begins the segment by just briefly mentioning the earlier segment, which he said “made some waves.”

The topic at hand again was “cancel culture” and the fact that the MyPillow account was suspended from Twitter, after Lindell’s personal account was suspended last week.

It is impossible to say what happened behind the scenes in between the interviews, but it appeared that Newsmax told Lindell that he could not talk specifically about the news that he had previously said he was planning to release on Friday.

Many responses to the clip of the interview posted on Twitter were not too thrilled with situation and called for Newsmax to apologize to Lindell and/or to fire Sellers.
