On Friday, we reported on a video posted on Twitter that showed an interaction between a man and the police where the man took a cheap shot at the police officers who appeared to be essentially minding their own business.
The man videoing the interaction asks the police, “you gonna kill me like Ma’Khia Bryant?” The officer closest to the individual responds with “are you gonna stab somebody like her?”
Tonight on Fox News, Tucker Carlson reported that the police officer who said that “has now been pulled off duty, pending review.”
“He’s lost in effect, his job, for saying that,” Tucker added.
Carlson referred to the man behind the camera as a BLM activist, summing up the interaction and lamenting, “I’m not going to shot you if you don’t try to stab somebody, that’s why cops exist, to prevent people from stabbing each other.”

According to Business Insider, the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC, say that they are investigating the incident.
From Business Insider:
The context and the date of the video are unclear. It shows police officers surrounding a car.
A Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson told Insider on Monday morning that the department was “aware of this incident and it is currently under investigation.”
The department would not confirm whether one of its officers had made the remark about Bryant trying to stab someone, saying only that “the members in the video are MPD members.”
It’s unclear where the video originally came from. The TikTok user who posted the footage on Friday said she did not record the video.
