One America News (OANN) has expressed interest in hiring former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who was fired from the network on Monday.
In a tweet, OANN founder and CEO Robert Herring Jr. said that he would like to meet with Carlson to discuss a possible deal.
“Tucker Carlson Leaves Fox Nation,” One America News tweeted. “Maybe Fox News’ loss could be @OANN’s gain, Founder and CEO @RobHerring would like to extend an invitation to Carlson to meet for negotiation.”

Carlson was fired from Fox News after it was revealed that he had made disparaging remarks about his colleagues in a private deposition. However, that’s not the official reason, and many still speculate as to what really happened.
The remarks were shown during a deposition in a defamation lawsuit filed against Fox News by Dominion Voting Systems, which has settled with Fox News for nearly $800 million.
It is unclear whether Carlson would be interested in joining OANN. The network has struggled with ratings and battled with cable networks, but would get a big bump from a Carlson hire.
However, Carlson has a history of making controversial statements and he may be drawn to OANN’s willingness to give him a platform.
If Carlson does join OANN, it would be a major coup for the network. Carlson is one of the most popular cable news hosts in the country and his presence on OANN would give the network a major boost in viewership.
It would also be a major blow to Fox News, which just lost one of its most popular and profitable hosts.
It remains to be seen whether Carlson will join OANN. However, the network’s interest in him is a sign that it is willing to spend big bucks to attract top talent. In our view, he will do his own thing while he gears up to sue Fox News potentially, or at least review his options with his legal counsel as per reports.
