Pelosi Declares That She Will ‘Never Forgive’ Trump For Sending His ‘Lackeys’ and ‘Bullies’ to the Capitol on Jan. 6

At her weekly news conference today, House Speake Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) outdid herself with a statement that she made about former President Trump.

A reporter asked Pelosi about the tension on Capitol Hill currently between the parties in relation to staff members.

Pelosi declared, “I’ll never forgive president, former president of the United States, and his lackeys and his bullies that he sent to the Capitol for the trauma that he, that wasn’t what was exerted on our staff.”

“These are young, largely younger people who come with the idealism to work in the Capitol on either side of the aisle and whatever it is and for us to sign up for this when we run for office, it’s bad enough for our families to see the danger we’re in,” Pelosi added.

Pelosi also said that she was “proud” of the work that the Jan. 6 select committee and expected that they would be able to reveal the “truth.”

The former White House chief of staff under Trump, Mark Meadows indicated yesterday that he would not be appearing before a scheduled deposition in front of the Jan. 6 select committee.

Like they did with Steve Bannon, members of the panel have signaled they will move to hold Meadows in contempt.

Meadows’ attorney George J. Terwilliger III had sent in a letter to the committee indicating that Meadows would no longer cooperate.

Terwilliger wrote, “We now have every indication from the information supplied to us last Friday — upon which Mr. Meadows could expect to be questioned — that the Select Committee has no intention of respecting boundaries concerning Executive Privilege,”
