At today’s White House press briefing, Doocy asked, “How could anyone be that irresponsible?”
After Jean-Pierre didn’t respond, Doocy continued, “isn’t that what the president says about mishandling classified documents?”
Jean-Pierre then told him, “The president spoke to this personally… again, he believes that classified documents and information should be taken seriously, he takes them seriously and he was surprised to learn that any records…”

On Monday, digital strategist Greg Price shared a clip from a 60 Minutes interview that Biden gave in September.
Biden was asked, “You saw the photograph of the top-secret documents laid out on the floor at Mar-a-Lago, what did you think to yourself, looking at that image?”
At that time, Biden responded, “How could that possibly happen? How could anyone be that irresponsible?”
Biden then speculated that perhaps those documents contained information that could be incriminating to Trump.

Doocy wasn’t the only one to question Jean-Pierre about the documents, as we previously reported she was also asked about them by another reporter.
Another batch of documents has been found in another location according to a report that was released after the press briefing had begun.
