A podcast co-host (jokingly) fainted after Elon Musk said he will vote Republican for possibly the first time ever.
In a virtual interview on Monday with the All-In Podcast, Musk made the declaration, which left one of the co-hosts in shock.
In a clip shared by TPUSA’s Benny Johnson, Musk began, “The reality is that Twitter, at this point, has a very far-left bias and I would classify myself as a moderate, neither Republican nor Democrat.”
“In fact, I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats historically, overwhelmingly, I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican. Now this election, I will,” Musk admitted.
The camera switched back to the co-hosts and one of them, David Sacks, is seen needing support from another co-host, Chamath Palihapitiya, who checks his forehead.
Another co-host, Jason Calacanis asked Sacks, “David you okay?”
“David Sacks he just fainted!” Calacanis told the audience.
Palihapitiya attempted to reassure the audience, and Musk, as he rubbed Sacks’ shoulders and said, “Keep going, keep going, he’s fine, he’s fine, we’re going to resuscitate him.”
Calacanis chimed back in, “We’re going to resuscitate David Sacks, I mean…”
Musk felt it was necessary to explain further and chimed back in before Calacanis could pivot or ask a further question, “It’s not some right-wing takeover, as people on the left may fear, but rather a moderate-wing takeover and an attempt to ensure that people of all political beliefs feel welcome on digital town square and they can express their beliefs without fear of being banned or shadow-banned.”
