It has begun
CNN’s Daniella Diaz tweeted about the news, “President Joe Biden will receive a routine colonoscopy today while he is undergoing a physical at Walter Reed.”
“The process, which requires anesthesia, means that he will temporarily transfer power to Kamala Harris, who will briefly become the 1st woman President,” Diaz explained.

Many, like Indian journalist Aditi Tyagi, are celebrating the situation as “history made.”
That's History being made in USA!! Vice President Harris will become the 1st woman in U.S. history to have presidential powers for a short period as she would be the “acting president”. Why? Because President Biden would be under anesthesia for colonoscopy so transfer of power!

As CNN noted, Harris checks many boxes as the nation’s first female, first black, and first South Asian vice president who will break yet another barrier when she temporarily steps into the acting role.
In a statement, Psaki reported Harris will work from her office in the West Wing while Biden is under anesthesia.
