Report: Nancy Pelosi’s Initial Request to Send National Guard to D.C. Capitol Building Denied

Aaron C. David of the Washington Post is reporting that a request from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to send the National to the Capitol Building has been initially denied.

Reports are out and viral videos showing what appears to be Trump supporters storming the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. This has taken over global news headlines and will likely dominate news reports for some time.

It has also been reported that the joint session to certify the 2020 presidential election has been delayed and Congressman and Congresswomen have been evacuated or told to lock down during this intense period. There are reports of shots fired as well as you can read here.
