Last night, we reported that the Supreme Court voted 6-3 along party lines to overrule President Joe Biden’s radical left wing break from former President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico policy.”
Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has sent law enforcement to assist Texas in their fight to secure the southern border, applauded the decision.
In a tweet today, DeSantis stated, “SCOTUS handed down yet another blow to the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies.”
“Reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy that Biden unlawfully rescinded will protect our communities and slow the influx of illegal aliens and illicit drugs at the southern border,” DeSantis explained.

DeSantis has previously claimed that according to the border patrol, “almost 70% of (illegal immigrants) that they have interdicted said their ultimate destination was the state of Florida.”
As we reported last night, Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott celebrated the decision and Texas GOP AG Ken Paxton also tweeted approval.
“PAXTON WINS AGAIN – REINSTATED Trump’s Remain in Mexico Policy! The US Supreme Court ruled for TX – again. SCOTUS said Remain in Mexico policy must be implemented now!”

Missouri GOP Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who also had challenged the policy, released a statement with his approval.
“This evening, the Supreme Court sided with Missouri and Texas and denied the Department of Justice’s request for emergency stay in our ‘Remain in Mexico’ case – another important win for border security.”
