Ron DeSantis Gets Several Boxes of Pudding (No Spoons) Delivered to him in Wake of Donald Trump as Mocking Him

On May 2nd, 2023, Twitter user Thomas Kennedy said he dropped off boxes of chocolate pudding at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ office in the Florida Capitol. The prank was in response to a recent campaign ad by former President Donald Trump, in which Trump accused DeSantis of having “pudding fingers.”

Kennedy, who is apparently a critic of DeSantis, tweeted about the prank before he did it.

Kennedy’s prank was met with mixed reactions. Some people thought it was funny, while others thought it was childish. DeSantis’ office did not comment on the prank.

“We just dropped off several boxes of pudding — no spoons — at Ron DeSantis’ office in the Florida Capitol. They threatened to call capitol police but when all was said and done, pudding boy couldn’t resist keeping his delicious snack packs.

The DeSantis stans are seething that their guy is a weirdo who is down double digits against a former reality tv host who is absolutely destroying him with ads like this one“

The “pudding fingers” campaign ad was released in April. In the ad, DeSantis is accused of eating chocolate pudding with his fingers.” This comes following the nicknames given to DeSantis of “Meatball Ron” and “Ron DeSanctimonious” Trump also thinks that DeSantis is “not tough enough” to be president.

The ad came about after The Daily Beast reported on DeSantis’s “unflattering… social skills” and his “particularly, his propensity to devour food during meetings.”

A staffer told The Daily Beast DeSantis would eat in front of people at meetings “always like a starving animal who has never eaten before… getting shit everywhere.”

The Daily Beast continued on, “Enshrined in DeSantis lore is an episode from four years ago: During a private plane trip from Tallahassee to Washington, D.C., in March of 2019, DeSantis enjoyed a chocolate pudding dessert—by eating it with three of his fingers, according to two sources familiar with the incident.”

DeSantis has denied Trump’s various accusations with vague rhetoric mostly. He has said that “Florida is where woke goes to die.” Many question if that’s true with recent legislation supported by DeSantis seeming to limit free speech.

The feud between DeSantis and Trump is likely to continue in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. Both men are reportedly running for president, and they are both vying for the support of the Republican Party. Trump has officially announced while DeSantis is accused of running a “shadow campaign”.

It remains to be seen whether Kennedy’s prank will have any impact on the feud between DeSantis and Trump. However, it is clear that the prank has gotten people talking.
