A new report shows that the former lawyer for the 45th President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, has been told by prosecutors in Georgia that he is a target of the special purpose grand jury investigating Trump and his allies violated the law in their efforts to flip the 2020 election results in Georgia.
The Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is a Democrat, has detailed the far-reaching scope of the investigation.
Willis said that it includes potential “solicitation of election fraud, the making of false statements to state and local governmental bodies, conspiracy, racketeering, violation of oath of office and any involvement in violence or threats related to the election’s administration.”
Giuliani fired back at the report during an interview on Newsmax where he said, “It’s just a further desecration of the Sixth Amendment.”
“I was his lawyer of record in that case. The statements that I made are either attorney-client privilege because they were between me and him, or they were being made on his behalf in order to defend him,” Giuliani explained.
Giuliani pointed out that “When you start turning around lawyers into defendants when they’re defending their clients, we’re starting to live in a fascist state.”
“Look, I’ve already had my law office raided. I never thought I’d ever see that happen,” Giuliani noted.
Act for America’s Brigitte Gabriel defended Giuliani in a tweet where she declared, “I stand with Rudy Giuliani, one of the greatest American patriots in US History!”

Liberals, however, were predictably giddy over the report, including filmmaker Rob Reiner who claimed in a tweet, “Rudy Giuliani was willing to break the law for Donald Trump.”
“Since Trump can no longer pardon him, will he be willing to go to prison for him? Feels like there’s a roll over in Rudy’s future,” Reiner suggested.
